Miranda Kerr - winner of the Dolly Model Search 1997 - started off as the first Australian Victoria Secret Angel in 2007 walking for Victoria's Secret annual televised runway shows, which expanded to gracing the covers of Vogue, serving as the campaign ambassador for brand labels, acting in TV commercials or ads to making guest appearance in short films...

After 2 years of modeling success with Victoria's Secret, Kerr launched her own brand of organic skincare line, KORA Organics.

Her other official titles include being an author, designer and a mom!

Hack #1: A primary job is a source of capital and vast opportunities

I never really had that desire to be a model, shrugged Kerr who declared she never took modeling very seriously. I just go in there, do my thing and enjoy myself, she voiced. Kerr, however, decided that modeling could be lucrative and would earn her a living and thus embarked on board. Since then, she was consistently ranked on the Forbes' list as the world's highest earning model and became one of the top supermodels in the world!

Kerr also accredited modeling to the spun of creative opportunities she've had. Modeling became a good way for me to get to work with great people, express a creative side of myself, and to travel and experience different cultures, she exclaims. A partnership opportunity to become a designer with Swarovski and Royal Albert also arose out of modeling. The Aussie model, who has been the face of the brand since 2013, was welcomed to the team as the only designer representative from Australia to launch a jewelry line and later approached by Royal Albert to design a tea collection, bringing catwalk glamour to afternoon tea.

Because of modeling, I've been able to start my own business, she continues. It makes Kerr aware of the chemicals contained in most skincare products, in turn prompting her to create KORA Organics - a certified organic skincare range. On top of making money for her son's education, full-time modeling, in her own words, is a good way to get my face out there so I can do things like my skincare line, Kora Organics - people can put a face to the name, she speaks in favor.

Currently, Miranda is looking out for new and exciting opportunities for KORA Organics. I am focused on driving the business in the right direction. Like all things organic, the business will continue to evolve and we are very much guided by the feedback of our customers and what they want. I have a few more book ideas to work on and most important of all, above everything else, I am enjoying the delights of motherhood, she finished.

Hack #2: Entrepreneurship is driven by passion, needs and availability in market

KORA Organics is a result of Miranda's passion for well-being and organic living. For me, my skincare line wasn't ever about wanting to have a business. It was more like, "This is what I'm passionate about, this is fun," she mused. Having always been interested in wellness, Miranda took up nutrition and health psychology studies and later earn a degree as a certified health practitioner from New York's School of Integrative Nutrition! I love reading and find myself always searching for new information on health, wellness and spirituality, she confessed.

My approach to beauty is using products that really feed, heal and protect my skin,  stressed Kerr   on the purpose behind creating Kora Organics. The inspiration for ingredients is drawn from her own lifestyle needs. Noni was first introduced to me when I was 12 years old by my grandmother. She'd put aloe vera on my skin, or, if I got sunburn, she would put noni on my skin, and it has been a part of my daily diet and skincare routine since, she added. In fact, she still drinks noni juice and aloe vera every day. Both noni and aloe vera are in Kora Organics, she attest.

With that said, KORA Organics would not be possible if there is a certified organic skincare brand that Kerr is happy with in the market. I searched for years to find a range that was not only certified organic but also delivered results. I was unable to find anything on the market that delivered what I was looking for, so I decided to create my own range, she voiced. To launch, Kerr researched on chemicals in skincare and spend 4 years of product development with an organic pharmacist, where she try and test the formulas herself until she was 100% satisfied. I think it's very important to know and make educated decisions about what you put on your skin, she emphasized.

The entrepreneur also explains what sets her skincare range apart from others labeled 'organic' on the market. KORA Organics also found no harsh chemicals: If the entire formulation is not certified organic, then it hasn't undergone the stringent process of testing, regular audits and strict regulations which KORA Organics does.  Compared to non-certified products, KORA Organics also found no harsh chemicals and is certified vegan, cruelty-free, and non-toxic.

Hack #3: Product must have intangible value, other than physical benefits

KORA is made with love and positivity - an extension of what Miranda Kerr is passionate about. My lab in Australia has rose quartz throughout the whole place. The back of my products has the word love, joy, or peace written on them - positive words that give intention to the products, she indicatedObjectively speaking, it's about being able to get a beauty line out there with integrity and quality that makes a difference to people's skin. It was more than just washing my face, it was knowing that I was keeping my body away from unnatural toxins, she stated.

Other than that, Kerr was also the designer of the new Swarovski jewellery collection, where she had a clear vision of what she wanted. I created mood boards, the Sydney born model exclaims! I wanted the collection to be symbolic, said Kerr who is focused on creating design with a positive meaning for the wearer. Spirituality isn't a hobby, it's everything, Kerr explained as she embodied the ideas of joy, protection, spirit, love, luck and grace within the collection to serve as an inspired reminder of beauty and positivity. For instance, a love heart isn't just cute, in every choice we make in a day, we can come from fear or love. So let's have this heart charm as a reminder to choose to come from love, described Kerr. The Evil Eye bracelet, which stands for protection and gives a wish to live with confidence, is the supermodel's favorite piece. I just feel a special connection with it. When I look at it I feel a sense of positivity, she said.

Hack #4: Plan and schedule your time, but be flexible to changes

At age 30, Miranda Kerr has hung up her Angel wings to pursue a wider range of interests and business ventures as well as focus more on being a mom. I've been modeling since I was 13. I'm now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realized I needed to prioritize my time, she confirmed.

Time is important to Kerr when it comes to juggling it all. Everything needs to be planned from my different contracts to my business, even time with Flynn. I'll get Orlando's schedule and link it up with my schedule and then we work everything out, she said citing planning and preparation as keyHighlighting Flynn as their priority, spending quality time with him is a must. We'll book the jobs around when he's going to be with his dad, and the rest of the time I got to be a mom. Some things move and you have to be flexible, but it's good to have that general plan as the time doesn't get away from you,  adding that they plan about a year in advance then map out into weekly plans.

I don't have a 9-to-5 job, described Miranda on managing her time in between roles of a model, entrepreneur and mom. There is a lot going on. I've just finished a trip in Asia for a shoot, where I was working back-to-back for 10 days. As the founder and managing director of KORA Organics, I'm also actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the business, she reported. The sacrifices are a lack of sleep. I typically worked 16-17 hours a day and had 3 hours of sleep a night, she said.

Nevertheless, Miranda expressed she enjoys the challenge of work and multi-tasking ever since she became a mother. I've learnt to schedule my time more efficiently to ensure I can give my family the best, my company the best and my clients the best, she smiled. At the same time, she tries to makes her son understand that it's important for mom to work. My parents both worked. My mom was an accountant, and my dad is a builder - and that taught me about having a really strong work ethic, and I respected them a lot for that, she concluded.

Hack #5: Take care of your well-being in 1) Mind, 2) Body and 3) Spirit

I was born a naturally positive person,  described Miranda as she revealed she also works hard to cultivate a solid foundation for happiness.

A believer in happiness in all areas: Mind, Body and Spirit, Kerr embraces mindful practices like meditation, prayer, yoga exercises and healthy eating in her daily life. When Kerr wakes up and goes to bed, she have that attitude of gratitude. I say, 'Thank you for this beautiful day, for this   roof over my head, for the fact that I have my health and my son has his health, and thank you for our family.' Even when she's working, Miranda asked for a blessed day - to uplift everyone involved in the shoot to create a happy day. It's also nice to pray for anyone that's struggling or having a hard time, you can send them love, she said.

When it comes to meditation, Miranda tries to do at least once a day for 20 minutes, even though she admits it's hard to always fit into the day. She reveals she generally sit in hair and makeup and use that time to meditate and regroup. Sometimes, what I'll do, if there's a lot of things going on around me I'll put my headphones in. I close my eyes and put focus on my mantras, adding If you can give yourself 20 minutes, it is equivalent to five hours of sleep.

Yoga is also an important part of Miranda's life. Other than building core strength and agility, yoga allows her to meditate and reflect on what's important in her life. It doesn't matter where I am or what I am doing, yoga gives me the opportunity to switch off and focus entirely on my body and my breath, she shared. In addition to doing yoga as a hobby, Miranda also hopes to become a qualified yoga practitioner. It's very important to practice the type of yoga that resonates with you. I do Kundalini yoga. It just makes your aura feel amazing. After I've done yoga, people are like 'oh you look fresh', she exclaims! And when Miranda can't catch up with her teacher, she uses a DVD.

In terms of food, Miranda insists in packing her own lunch, that consists of mostly vegetables. I chop up a salad with lots of greens - everything from spinach, baby spinach, arugula, cucumber, avocado, radish, cauliflower, and green olives to parsley and cilantro, all chopped really fine - with a piece of wild salmon, she claims. In terms of tea, Miranda is in love with rooibos tea, dandelion tea, green tea and Earl Grey, you named it. There's something so comforting to me about having a cup of tea, and it really needs to be made with love. I can taste the difference, she said.

Being healthy is the way that I am, said Miranda as she looks after herself on a cellular and physical level by eating organic when possible, nurturing mind, body and spirit and doing regular exercise to maintain a healthy, happy lifestyle. Food is fuel, and what you put into your body really helps support your whole system energetically. It's the same with your mind. Our mind, body, and spirit is all interconnected. Every thought you have affects your reality and only you have control of it,  she reflected adding that she couldn't do what she do if she didn't take care of herself.

Kerr's idea of a balanced diet is 80% health-conscious and 20% indulgence. You don't have to be 100% strict with yourself. Don't deprive yourself of things because then you just crave it more. It's about balance, being kind to yourself, and knowing what works, but not feeling like you have to do everything, she articulates. Nonetheless, she understands that, as human beings, it is not always possible. But to be educated and aware of what you're doing before you do it is the key, she said.

Hack #6: Success is a state of mind

Speaking of success, Kerr doesn't believe it should be limited to career achievements and material goods. I feel like being successful is kind of just doing the best you can do. It's not necessarily about what you have or haven't done, it's more about the way you feel. If you feel you are doing things which are true to your heart and you are passionate about, then that's successful, she concluded adding that as long you're following your journey and not doing something because you think you should, then that's successful. Follow the beat of your own drum, she ended.

In regards to how she handle being fallible (making mistakes or being wrong), Kerr believes that one should bend but not break. I have this philosophy that we should all be like willow trees - people think that in a big storm, the oak is the strongest tree, but it's actually the willow tree because it's very, very flexible, she recounted. Fact is, trying then stumbling is part of being human. It's about realizing it and moving forward. Forgiveness is a powerful tool: forgiving yourself, forgiving others, she highlighted.

Kerr has a own philosophy towards achieving a balanced life, her biggest inspiration she says is the power of positive energy and not always think what is next. I try to live in the moment and enjoy what today is bringing... otherwise you can get so caught up that you can overlook how fortunate you are, she ended.

A believer in self-sufficiency, Miranda believes that everything you need, the answers are deep inside of you. Sit with yourself, take a few breaths and get close to your spirit, she advised. To the naysayers, she forgives and credits them for making her grow, learn, evolve and be a better version of herself. You need to accept who you are and understand everyone is different, she concluded.

Kerr's idea of a good time is domestic and laid-back. I'm a homebody! Being at home is the biggest luxury to me. She confessed that the grocery store is her happy place and if she weren't a model, she'd be a naturopath. I love making food, and I especially love having people over and having dinner parties. That's one of my favorite things. At most Saturday nights, you'll find her being with her family especially Flynn and doing simple things. My son is my favorite person in the whole world. We draw together; we build blocks together. I also love swinging on swings, she smiled.

A believer in self-healing, Miranda is an fan of crystals. She have amethyst geodes by her meditation-yoga room. According to Miranda, Amethyst is a meditative and calming stone that works in the emotional, spiritual, and physical planes to provide calm, balance, patience, and peace. She also have a large rose quartz throughout her back garden. Rose quartz is said to be the stone of unconditional love. This crystal opens the heart chakra and is believed to encourage self-love and forgiveness, and to help you let go of anger, resentment, and jealousy,  stated Miranda. Last but not least, she also carry a clear-and-rose-quartz chakra wand in her handbag.
